Keeping history alive in the Tetons.
Why RPK? The name "RPK" originated in 1967 by weather forecasters in Riverton and the Bridger Teton National Forest Service to refer to weather patterns and predicted snowfall amounts specific to Rendezvous Peak, our prominent Jackson Hole landmark and ski area mountain.

This new name symbolizes a deep connection to our mountains, our community and the enduring legacy we aim to honor as we recognize the work of those who came before us. We continue to build on their knowledge which inspires us to strengthen our commitment to our values of excellence, education, and resilience.
